I had a business trip from Canlaon City to Dumaguete last May 13, 2017. The owner is a 64 year old guy whose passion exceeds mine: he has a Harley, 3 boats, a TLC 80 series (he said it a collectors item especially if it is manual) It would set you back by 2 million. He used to own a light plane but which a LGU exec and president of the league bought from him for several millions
Now for the 2016 TLC which he said cost P5 million. It is a V8 gasoline that spews out 380 hp and 430 Nm of torque. Even though it was raining, and we were running between 80 to 120, it managed to get tight lines. The suspension was not hard but steering was taut. Unlike Fortunner the ride was pleasant.
There was never a strain on the part of the engine. It was robust and strong. He said though by shifting the gears, you can activate 4 cylinder motor running. The fuel economy at the time were in the car was 26 km/liter. Wow
It look like a better SUV than Range Rover which is more expensive by 3 million
I think I will buy one by 2018 for the sake of image and prestige as we deal with business partners.
