Other things you need for a 4x4 expedition
There are other accessories you need for 4x4 expedition:
1. Tent
2. High intensity lights (at least 4) two at bumper and two above the vehicle for night travel;
3. A spade (when you get stuck)
4. Steel matting for retrieval and winching in sand;
5. Tow strap, or tow ropes
6. Plywood (if you have roof rack for sleeping) which you can use also for repairs underneath the vehicle
7. Several pintle hooks;
8. Complete set of tools; and all the lubricants needed by the vehicle.
9. Many spares: radiator hose, electrical tapes, fan belts, radiator leak repair kit, extra bolts and nuts,
10. Flash lights, including the high intensity flood lamps
11. First aid kit.
12. Plenty of water: for drinking and for radiator replenishment
13. Cooking and eating utensils
14. Snack and canned foods
15. Lamps for night time,
16. Folding chairs and tables when camping out
17. Tire chains
