Heading for the Crater
This was taken on the way to Mount Pinatubo which is an active volcano in the Philippines. It is infamous for its 1991 eruption which ejected roughly 10,000,000,000 tonnes of magma and 20,000,000 tonnes of Sulfur Dioxide and injected large amounts of aerosol into the stratosphere which caused global temperatures to drop by  0.5 °C / 0.9 °F. The 1991 caldera was subsequently filled with water from monsoon rains and a crater lake, Lake Pinatubo, was formed.  This was the LRCP we joined headed by Atty. Robie Consunji

As a sportsman, I did the following:  marathon, mountain climbing,  tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, pingpong, and biking.

Before biking I did offroading.  Since we were in construction, we had experience of rain and mud. Ordinary vehicles would not do to access or leave sites.  We need powerful vehicles which can negotiate this kind of terrain.  Thus we had to invest in 4x4 off road vehicles.

We first invested in CJ7 renegade and CJ8 later in a Range Rover Classic.

And then we joined the Land Rover Club of the Philippines.  And we were brave enough to join the adventures led by a brave man - Dale Abenojar.  The rest of the club just want to own the Rovers and show off.
